Prototype mold

We design your prototype mold in our dedicated design office:

  • CAD layouts to simplify mold production and reduce costs and lead times.
  • Integration of the necessary drafts.
  • Checking material thicknesses.
  • Simulation, in certain cases, of the part’s behaviour during injection.
  • Anticipation during tool design: filling, part deformation, hot spots in the mold, etc.

This tooling technology ensures optimisation of the injection process:

  • Validation of the manufacturing process configuration.
  • Validation of the product in the production process configuration.
  • Production start-up in the event of delays in production resources.

Based on the 3D file of your part, we carry out a tooling study:

  • Undercuts demoulded by removable blocks or pins, manually by the operator at the foot of the press.
  • CAD/CAM generation of toolpaths and electrodes.
  • Cavity machining.
  • Polishing of cavities or specific graining.
  • Mold adjustment and assembly.
  • Injection test and tooling set-up, cavity modification possible subject to feasibility.
