Aesthetic approval models
Innovation lies at the heart of EDA’s garden collections.
The French brand EDA designs, produces and sells homeware, garden, leisure and outdoor items.
We were commissioned to 3D print the latest resin prototypes.
The aim?
To facilitate aesthetic approval of new models with textures recreating the appearance of stone or an attractive ridge finish.
Our 3D Scanning team was able to apply “stone” and “ridge” type texture patterns to the pots.
- Production using stereolithography (SLA) with Accura Xtreme® resin.
- A grey colour and excellent impact resistance, offering optimal rendering of fine details.
- Substantial machine capacity for these large designs: H 365.5mm Ø 385 mm and H 461.5 mm Ø 485 mm.
